Intuitive Reading may 2026 - new moon

Updated: Jun 24

The dove is calling in the early evening, and just like that, I’m back at my grandparents’ home…surrounded by forest, edged by ocean, nothing but that soft sound filling the air.
I barely had the cards in my hands before these flew right out of the deck and into my lap.
Take what resonates and leave the rest. Follow your intuition
🐇May 17-2026 - new moon
The Six and Five of Cups — the nostalgia
Nostalgia braided with regret.
As if the love came before the loss.
The cards carry 🍄energy. the delicate, luminous mushroom that fruits in the dark, often on decaying wood. Mushrooms are a decomposer and a light-bringer simultaneously. She appears where things are breaking down and where bioluminescence is possible. The regret you’re feeling? It may be part of the mycelial process. not rot, but transformation of old matter into future nourishment.
What did you love that you’ve been grieving? The deck seems to be asking you to honour both (the gift and the loss) -without collapsing one into the other.
Knight of Wands and Three of Wands
The fire cards, face-down. The movement cards, stalled.
The Knight of Wands reversed speaks of someone who knows how to move fast, lead with vision, trust the flame. but has been scattered, or stopped, or has had that fire turned inward in ways that haven’t felt productive. Trust the fire turned inward. It can be incredibly uncomfortable and challenging space. A space where we can burn off the old and rise from the ashes. A space where the fool, sage, and Lilith intersect.
The Three of Wands reversed is the ship that hasn’t left the harbor yet. The vision exists. The horizon is real. But something. fear, timing, unfinished inner work… has kept the launch delayed.
In this mushroom deck, Wands carry spore energy. The dispersal, the broadcast, the bold reaching out into new territory. Reversed, they’re asking: what is still ripening inside you before the spores release?
I want to sit with you in this question rather than rush past it.
The World — upright, at the end
XXI. The final card of the Major Arcana. Completion that is also a portal.
This isn’t consolation. This is confirmation.
In this mushroom deck, The World often carries the image of the full mycelial network made visible…everything connected, the underground labor finally bearing fruit above ground. The guide who went underground so she could come back with roots… do you hear that echo?
The World doesn’t arrive without having moved through everything before it. And here it is, at the end of your five-card sequence, after the grief, after the stalled fire. saying: you are on the full arc. This counts. All of it counts.
—nuanced thread through all five:
You are in the liminal space between the Five and the World. Between grief and completion. The reversed Wands aren’t failure. they’re the underground season. The mycelium doesn’t apologize for doing its work in the dark.
Journal prompts to sit with:
🌱What did I love so much that losing it still lives in my body?
🐇Where have I been calling my delay a failure, when it has actually been preparation?
💚If the World card is an invitation rather than a destination…what is it inviting me to trust, specifically?
🌻What would it feel like to stop waiting for the fire to organize itself, and instead tend it like a slow ember rather than a torch?
with love,
Natalie & Holly :)

If this felt like a conversation you wanted to stay in...
There are conversations happening in Mystic Marrow (in Patreon) that won't make it here. Not because they're secret, well maybe a little — because they need a sacred container. If what you read today stirred something in you, that's where we keep going.
